Glory Days: Revisiting Scenic Anemia Radio

feature photo

With all of the site recovery fun and games, writing something new hasn’t been much of a possibility. On the bright side, site reader Alphane Moon pointed us in the direction of a site where we were able to recover a few more posts. As awesome as that is, you’ve probably already read those posts, so it doesn’t provide much in the way of new entertainment. But, alas, I got a plan.

It’s a little known fact (especially now that the “About This Site” page is gone) that Scenic Anemia used to be an internet radio show. That’s right, for ten glorious episodes, two of which are nowhere to be found, the powers that be at Scenic Anemia provided the finest Friday night entertainment to be found on the internet. Back then, it was just me, Grady and a mysterious fellow called “Thug” who ran this place. And for, wow, at least three episodes, Grady and Thug actually helped out with the radio show. Eventually they got girlfriends, lost their virginity and subsequently lost interest in bringing the Friday night funny. I soldiered on alone for awhile before eventually hanging it up to do who the hell knows what.

And now, through the magic of a website I forgot existed, you can experience the magic that was Scenic Anemia radio. Head to http://scenicanemia.podomatic.com to listen to all of the shows. It’s hard to say which show is my personal favorite. Wait, no it’s not, it’s episode two, where Thug cheats at the cover song drinking game which results in me slowly taking the show completely off the rails. Good times.

Give it all a listen here: http://scenicanemia.podomatic.com.
